Why should every account have a different password?
Explain it like I'm 16
If you reuse a password, one stolen login can put several accounts at risk. Different passwords stop that same stolen password from working everywhere.
A real-world example
Suppose your gaming account password is exposed. If your email uses the same password, the attacker may try it there too. A separate email password blocks that particular shortcut.

Common misunderstanding
Changing one reused password does not fix the other accounts that still use it. Each affected account needs attention.
