What is an AI agent, really?
Explain it like I'm 16
An AI agent is a computer system that can notice what is happening, decide what to do, and take actions to reach a goal. Unlike a chatbot that mainly replies to messages, an agent can use tools, remember relevant information, and carry out multi-step tasks.
A real-world example
A travel-booking agent could ask where you want to go, search flights, compare prices, check your calendar, and prepare a booking. It should still ask for your permission before spending money.

Why this matters
AI agents could handle useful tasks automatically, but their decisions and access to tools need careful limits because they can make mistakes.
